Ham. (June 20, 2006) Michelle said to me, "You know how people say 'All that and a bag of ..."? "Yeah, I'm familiar with that expression!" "Well, the other night I went to say that, and I couldn't remember bag of WHAT." "Oh yeah?" "So I said '...bag of ham.' My friend paused for a moment and then said, 'Did you just say it was 'all that and a bag of ham?'" "Bag of HAM," I said. "Hmmmm." "Yeah!" (this is where she paused) "What IS the expression?" she asked. "Bag of what? I still can't remember!" "Chips! All that and a bag of chips." "Ohhhh, CHIPS." But now, of course, it will forever be all that and a bag of ham. It's even funnier that she's a vegetarian!
