Your Karma, My Dogma

(September 17, 2002)

"So," said Hub, "There's this guy on this electronic bulletin board I'm on...on electronics...that's insane."

"So it's an insane electronic electronic bulletin board."

"That's right."

"And you get on there and discuss..."

"Abortion."

"Of course."

"Well it's usually about electronics but it gets off topic."

"I would love to see how a really passionate debate about transistors gets going on abortion."

"Well there was a thread on there today about the death penalty."

"For or against?"

"It's hard to tell. This guy, his name is Richard Steven Waltz, but he calls himself Steve. He goes off on these tangents of insanity. It's great. Today he called somebody a fundy religious freak."

"Is he for or against abortion?"

"One minute he seems to be violently opposed. He said something about 'slaughtering pigs.' But then he writes that a fetus isn't viable until 2 months."

"Maybe he's a multiple personality."

"It's great."

Feh. Message boards. One more vehicle with which to run each other down.
