To Hell, My Love, With You (January 17, 2003) I was talking to Laura about my girl Dorothy Parker the other day. I forget how we got talking about her, but man...Dorothy. Obsessed with death (mostly her own, mostly with causing her own), obsessed with heartbreak, and obsessed with being obsessed with those things. How can you not love a woman who calls the following "Love Song."
And he cares not what comes after. His words ring sweet as a chime of gold, And his eyes are lit with laughter. He is jubilant as a flag unfurled-- Oh, a girl, she'd not forget him. My own dear love, he is all my world, And I wish I'd never met him.
My love, he's mad, and my love, he's fleet,
My love runs by like a day in June,
Heh. Yeah.
