Sir, The Players Have Arrived (September 23, 2000) There I was, with Stay-Home-with-a-Book as a plan for this Friday night in late September. But then I read the paper, and lo and behold-- some enterprising folks have made The Fantasticks into a movie. Anyone whose spent any time walking the boards has probably labored & sweat over this little gem of a musical. Between Hub and I (who met, by the way, during a giddy pubescent production of Twelfth Night) we've done The Fantasticks three times. Kendall Square, 9:20. We're there. Update: This movie was awful.
